This iPod is the best one so far. The build quality is finally perfect, and it is extremely slim but also very sturdy. The display is perfect for watching videos. The media player is amazing, well designed and fast, downloading music directly is also a great feature.
It is using a wireless connection to access the internet and email, it is very fast and the applications are excellent.
You can get new The applications easily using the app store, there are a lot of free apps. The OS is fast and I have yet to see it to crash.
Overall I love this device, it is the king of the music players, the features, the design, the OS and the apps makes this unit just awesome.
Pros:
amazing display, build quality, interface, features, web browsing
Cons:
price, no sd card slot
I got the 32GB version for my birthday from my friends, my initial opinion was very positive. It looks great and it works well. The overall quality and the screen is excellent, I like watching full movies on it and it does not strain the eyes at all. I have to tell that the sound quality could be a bit better, I another simple mp3 player which has a better quality sound reproduction. The software is well designed and easy to navigate, I can connect it to my home wireless network without problems also. Basically this is an iPhone without phone functions. I highly recommend this device to anyone who wants a portable music player fully loaded with features which can be expanded using the app store. I travel a lot and I cannot imagine traveling without my iPod touch anymore.
Pros:
overall quality, usability
Cons:
sound quality
I’ve had a 32g i-Touch for over a year; I keep almost 5,000 photos on it (downloaded from my computer), use it for e-mail regularly (it’s faster and easier than my computer), load apps on it – there are so many I love and use (only free ones), keep videos on it for looking at; go to u-Tube regularly, read books on it (free Kindle reader for i-touch from Amazon), etc. etc. I thought I would get an i-phone but as long as Apple and AT&T are so tied together, forget it! I don’t want to have such bad reception and high monthly fees.
Pros:
pros: I wish I had the camera that’s on the i-Phone; I wish there were a speaker in it. I would like a better keyboard, though the upgraded sideways one is a bit better and I’m starting to get used to it.
Cons:
What did you find were the pros of this product?
I’ve had my new iPod Touch (2G) for a couple of months. I’m amazed at the 1,500+ apps that are available and a good percentage of them being free to download. I’ve recently started using my iPod Touch as a phone! Truphone is a free app and with headset and mic or earbuds and mic (make sure you get one with a 3.5mm connection), along with a wifi connection, I now have an alternate phone to use. I do travel quite a bit and this little bit of wonder saves me money when I call home from different points around the planet. I’ve downloaded a few songs from iTunes but 98% of all my music is from my collection of CDs I’ve downloaded to my iTunes library. I do have three gripes; One, no expansion card slot. Two, even from a full charge, the thing lasts only about an hour!! Three, I’ve paid for and downloaded the 3.O upgrade, got the bluetooth and it doesn’t work. Having to wait three days to get the last two gripes fixed… sucks canal water. The last two is why it only gets three stars.
Pros:
PROS: 1,500+ apps to cover just about anything anybody can want and use. Portability; I keep mine in a small camera case along with the charging cord and earbuds. Even though it fits easily in any shirt pocket, I paid too much for it to take chances losing it or it falling out and breaking.
Cons:
CONS: The high price. Since it’s been available for some time now, and the economy being in a sad state of affairs, I’ve noticed that the price has gone up!! The cheesy battery life isn’t anywhere near what is claimed. As I stated above, having to wait three days just to have somebody tell me “yeah, it doesn’t work.” really sucks.
its cool like a lot problem is that i dont know how to get txt messagin app.
Pros:
everything
Cons:
nothing
