Apple iPod Touch 64GB (3rd Gen) Reviews (8)

In my opinion there are no real reasons for upgrading to this version from the current version. $400 is just too much for it I think. It has some nice additions as the increased memory size and faster cpu and voice controls. The remote controls and the microphone built into the headset aren’t really useful because the headset is quite low quality so a better quality headset is recommended – so you’ll lose the remote and the mic. I would like to have an integrated camera, the lack of it is quite disappointing. I’m seriously thinking about returning this unit and buying the Microsoft Zune HD instead, it is a lot more of media player for the money I think.

    memory, cpu, voice commands

    camera would be nice, price

It is a good meadia player, plays music and video well, easy to sync and it is very easy to use. The apps are cool and the features can be expanded. It is not a game console but it’s not bad at all for gaming, the incoming games for it look promising. Beside of playing music I use it mostly for social networking.
The included earpice with the mic and controls is a nice addition. Overally I think that this media player is very hard to beat at this price, I would recommend it.

    features, quality

    no camera

This is a great device and totally worth it. I think the price of this compared to iPhone 3gs 16gb you should go for iPhone. It just makes far more sense.

I think it is a great way of a cpu if u lyk hndhld ones wch i do bcuz it wod b great 2 just hav light weight cpu in ur pocket but it is kinda exspensive for $400 because it has no camra and the mic can be lost easily so wy not just by an iphone but still they’re both still great i say that their even if it were on a scale hypetheticly speaking.

Pros: the media playing and how its part game counsel and the internet speeds
Cons: well not having a camra plus the price and the mic

I support the apple company all the way because they have a lot of great technology and this ipod touch is even greater its just that sometimes they put so many high prices on things like this one we get it how the internet speeds memory and the headset is cool but but please at least put a camra into it like you did to the ipod nano by the way you should buy the wireless keybored its fun and i tried wirting from my room and it worked.

Pros: internet speeds voice comand controls memory size
    Cons: the headsetand camara

iPod touch is the best portable music player currently available in the market. In the 64 GB version of iPod you can put in 80 hours of video, more than two thousand songs and thousands and thousands of pictures. For some strange reason the iPod nano has a camera but the iPod touch does not. It has a crisp, bright 3.5 inch touchscreen with the resolution of 480×320 in which watching movies, playing games and viewing pictures is really fun.

    Pros: iOS interface, internet, games.
Cons: price, no camera, paid upgrade

My primary reason for buying the iPod touch was because it is just like the iPhone minus the sim card, voice calling, sms, 3G etc. Both the iPhone and the iPod have the same App Store and all the apps that work in iPhone also work in the iPod touch. There are billions of games and apps in the app store. The games in the app store are amazing; they are of high quality, 3D and a lot of fun to play. I think the games available for iPod are even better than the games available for PlayStation Portable.

    Pros: apps, games, safari browser
Cons: no camera, price, closed app market.

iPod touch is sort of a portable computer. It is great for social networking. It has apps like twitter, facebook, digg, StumbleUpon, MySpace etc. so you don’t need to sit in front of your computer to be socially connected to your online friends and business contacts. iPod touch also has geolocation apps like foursquare etc. Blogging platform WordPress has an iPhone app and with it you can blog on the road without any problem. iPod is one portable multimedia player with which you can do anything.

Pros: crisp screen, apps, music quality
Cons: no camera, price, apps are constantly rejected.
