It's an incredible camera, for both photography and video. I do some video blogging as well as photo blogging, so this is the perfect combination of kit for me. It's easy to use, once you learn what everything does, but depending on your experience with DSLR cameras it could take longer for you to figure everything out. Taking video is not as straight forward as you would think as there is a lot of corrections to make because this is such a professional piece of equipment. Also, the video is HUGE, so you need a really good computer and editing software to get to grips with it, video this size is not for the faint hearted. But if you're willing to put the time in, have a powerful PC or Mac with Final Cut Pro, get one of these bad boys and take your video to the next level.Pros: Great value for money. Cons: No live view for video.

I almost bought the more expensive 5D Mark II, but I’m really glad I found the EOS 7D instead.
