I wanted a simple camera which fits in the pocket so I can carry it with myself everywhere. I travel a lot and it is a good thing that I can take it out of my pocket everywhere and just have to point and shot, everything is automated. The display is not that great, the camera will tell you when the photo is focuded, but you hardly can tell loking at the display what is focused. It is also poor for reviewing the photos taken, so you'll have to wait to see if it turned out ok until you see it on your monitor. But most of the time, when you see the photos in full size, they are excellent.If you are looking for a simple camera in this price range, that will do most of the work itself, this one is for you. For someone who just wants to press the shutter and move on, it is an excellent product. It turned out that it was a mistake to go with this camera, although I was a real beginner, I think that this one is not good even for the beginners. The photos were just not good all the time, I read books and how-tos, but whatever I did I wasn't able to produce good photos at all. I think ita was because of the automatic modes not working well enough and there are no manual modes to make settings. Later I had problems with charging the batteries, after fully charging them I wasn't able to make more than 10-20 photos, the unit turned off itself.I was still within the return period, so I sent it back without any hesitation and got a Canon instead. What a difference, with this one I hardly can teke any bad pictures, completely the opposite as it was with the Casio.I'd recommend to anyone to not to buy this camera.
