The new camera also has CCD shift image stabilisation to prevent camera shake and a high ISO of 6400 to facilitate shooting in low-lighting settings. Of course the S8100fd offers full manual control which also includes an intelligent i-Flash evaluation. This amazing technology is able to detect subtle lighting differences and cut back or increase flash power in order to gain more accurate, even exposures.
