Lomo Diana Mini 35mm Camera

Our Price: $37

Want to go retro with your photography? Then you will love the Lomo Diana Mini. You've probably seen these cameras around with the "cool kids" but if you haven't, the Lomo Diana Mini is a funky 35mm camera which is made of colorful plastic which looks and pretty much feels like a toy. But this lovely camera is no toy; it does a great job of taking photos, and good ones for that matter. You have to load it with film to take photos (blast from the past) and with that you'll have to get your photos developed the old fashioned way. This adds quite a level of excitement though, made even more exciting by the fact that this camera produces the most unexpected results for every photo. With light coming from different areas, each photo develops with an unexpected twist. This camera is so small; it will fit in your jacket pocket easily but take care of the lens cap, it is loose, as with any of the popular SLR cameras like the Canon rebel xsi and not attached to the camera so be careful not to use it.

This camera does not come with a flash; you have to buy an external flash if you need one for this camera. Use up a few rolls of film taking photos so that you will understand how the images turn out and figure out if you really need flash for the kind of photographs that you want to take. There are two light settings – sunny and cloudy and on the shutter settings – two letters are written N and B. You can change the shutter speed as per your requirement. Experiment with it a bit to get the right balance. Along with the camera you also get a book of photo missions, gallery pics and an instruction manual. Pay close attention to the stuff written in the Manual- I found it unusually helpful. I would also advise you to check out the camera website which provides some really good tips and tricks. They also have photographs taken by other users with the Lomo Diana Mini  camera and I have to say that I am impressed with the quality is some of them.

If you're looking to start this nostalgic new hobby, then you won't find the Lomo Diana Mini for a better price anywhere else!
