Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10

Our Price: $257

Are you looking for a camera with an advanced zoom that you can still carry around easily in your bag? The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 is similar to other pocket cameras in the Panasonic series in terms of size, but this camera boasts a really advanced zoom that pushes it way ahead of other pocket cameras. Although it is thicker than the new ultra-slim point and shoot cameras like the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W350, the 16X optical zoom or 21X digital zoom on this camera blows the DSC-W350 out of the water. Even the digital zoom on this camera leaves you with really great quality images because of the Wide-Angle 24-384mm lens. This 14.1 megapixel camera has a lot more to offer than an incredible zoom though.

With such high zoom levels, you need great quality image stabilization to ensure crisp, clear shots and the ZS10 really steps up here. Even in the continuous shooting mode, image stabilization works to provide blur-free images. Are you someone goes back to organize your photos and forget where they were taken, or simply likes to keep organized by tagging all your photo locations? The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 can make your life much easier because it has a built-in GPS on board. There is also an auto clock setting that will adjust the clock time to wherever you are int he world automatically- perfect for when you're traveling.

Navigation has been a major consideration with the design of this camera. Little things that bug me about other compact cameras have been addressed with the Lumix DMC-ZS1 and it makes for a much better user experience. Firstly, there is a dedicated button for shooting video. With video sharing becoming so popular online, everyone is shooting video and it is really nice not to have to dearth through a menu to start shooting. The video quality is fantastic as it shoots Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and the GPS tagging works with video too. If you do set up some manual shooting settings, but want to review the photos you have taken, this camera allows you to review your images while keeping all your settings intact when you switch back to shooting mode. This is a small thing but can be an invaluable time saver when you're taking photographs in a hurry. The shutter release time lag will help in these occasions also. It takes approximately 0.007 of a second for shutter release so spur of the moment sightings are easier than ever to capture.

We've got the black model of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 on sale here for a limited time. Snap one up while stocks last.
