My Xbox 360 had stopped recognising the games I put in them. It sometimes used to take more than 15 minutes to read and load the game which is not acceptable at all. The drive was also becoming very noisy. So I replaced it with the hard drive from BenQ, it was a fairly simple process, flashing the drive the the original xbox 360 game key is challenging but not very hard. You can use the freeware program called jungle flasher to do this.

Pros: fast, noise free, no heat.
Cons: flashing is harder, installation not easy.

Whenever you replace Xbox 360′s hard drive with a replacement hard drive, make sure that you properly flash the new hard drive with the key of the original Xbox 360′s hard drive, without this the system would not recognise or play the games. You should flash the drives only if you know what you are doing, if you do something wrong, your new hard drive would be rendered useless. I found the program called jungle flasher reliable for flashing purpose.

Ben Q is useful when Xbox 360 does not play games from DVD, if it shows some kind of error and if it takes too much time to load games. This usually happens because there are some kinds of error in the hard drive. Best way to correct this problem would be replacing it. When you replace it with another drive make sure you flash it with the key of the original hard drive otherwise the games would not work in it.
