Portal 2 for Playstation 3

Our Price: $49

Portal 1 was extremely popular because of unique gameplay, a humorous storyline and challenging physics. It was also short yet extremely fun to play. The announcement and the launch of Portal 2 for Playstation 3 were very well received because of the popularity of the first game. But does this game live up the expectations of the people or is it just hype?

I was extremely excited about trying out Portal 2 and I am very happy to say that I was not disappointed. The game is just perfect. The world is bigger, the story is even more interesting this time around and there is some nice character development happening in this game. The facility operator GLaDOS is still here and he is joined by many funny characters. Even though most of the situation in this game is funny, there are serious situations too. The character origins, and we finally get an insight into the history of the Aperture Science facility. As can be expected there are a lot of jokes and cheerful, sincere death threats. When you are not trying to figure out how to get to the next level, you will definitely be laughing at the sarcastic humor throughout this game.

Once again, you play the character of Chell. After the events of the first game, you are again dragged back into the Aperture where you meet Wheatley, who is a spherical robot. Stephen Merchant who is one of the extras of The Ricky Gervais Show voices this spherical robot. The writing is very clever which makes for hilarious dialogue. Don’t miss the verbal sparring match between Wheatley and GLaDOS (they are seriously fun). The attention to detail that has been given to this game is nothing short of stunning. Buy Portal 2 and play it as soon as possible, I couldn’t recommend a better new release for the Playstation 3.
