Rock Band is the ultimate party game. It’s a great way to bond with your friends and family. If you don’t know what it involves already, it’s a game that that involves playing in a rock band with either guitar, drums, bass or vocals. You use your instrument to hit the notes on screen. The drum pads have to be hit at the right time, the singer has to hit the right notes at the right time and the notes of the guitar have to be followed exactly. It’s similar to guitar hero in that you earn more points the better you play and unlock more venues the better you perform. If you play well, the crowd go wild. Mess up and you’ll be booed offstage. There is a practice mode with different levels of difficultly where you can practice until your arms falls off. The soundtrack in this game has something for everyone.
Rock Band is highly addictive and every wannabe musician’s dream.
It has songs from artists such as Aerosmith, The Who, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Pixies, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jet, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Ok Go, The Police, The Hives and many more. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users can interact online if they choose also.

Rock band is a very costly game, the special edition bundle complete with the game, drum set, wireless guitar/bass and microphone is retailing for $169.99. This is expensive and not many people spend such money on a game. The system does not seem to be properly calibrated. The game is somewhat slow and there is delay of gameplay on my high definition TV. The controllers itself are not quite good. They need to be calibrated very often.

Rock band is a really nice game, it is fun to play and the music is great. They instruments that is used to play this game is awesome, they look real and not some cheap imitation. There is no actual change in the gameplay; it is similar to all the other games in guitar hero series. They certainly have put in lots of nice songs in this game and it is fun to play guitar to my favorite tune.

Ever since the news about Rock Band was announced, I was waiting patiently for getting my hands on this game and I have to say that I am really satisfied with this game. It has tons of awesome music that I am sure everyone would like. It is a little costly but I think the cost is justified because of number of music you get with the game. Graphics and the gameplay are top notch and fun to play.
