Looking for a bit of Mario Bros. nostalgia? 2D Mario platform is back for the Wii and those who missed it are in for a treat. You'll find all your favourite characters, enemies, level layouts and even that great Mario music. The graphics look great on the Wii but they stay true to the original game also. Choose to play as Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad or Yellow Toad, there are many appearances from Mushroom Kingdom during gameplay and best of all, you can even ride on Yoshi's back.
Mario Bros. is a great game for kids and adults alike. Older players will love the nostalgia and although gameplay does become more challenging towards the end of the game, Mario Bros. is the first game to introduce a dynamic help system which means that if you are stuck, you can watch how a level can be completed. You can also commence gameplay at anytime while the help system is occurring.
The greatest feature on this game is the multiplayer compatibility. Have endless fun with your friends and family by choosing to play with them or against them. At the end of each stage of the multiplayer mode you can see the number of coins collected, enemies defeated and all players are given a score. You can even swap between single and multi-player between levels do you don't have to save separate lives for each play.
