The third installment in the incredibly popular Fallout series, Fallout 3 for Xbox is set in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC. The story is very engaging; it involves vault 101, a fallout shelter that has served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs. Drawing on aspects from the Cold War and nuclear propaganda, this game takes these issues to crate a wasteland of giant insects, raiders, slavers and super mutants. You've known Vault 101 as your only home for your whole life but when your father leaves the vault for mysterious reasons, you follow him to find out the truth of his mysterious disappearance.
The gameplay is incredible, as a single player role playing action adventure, this is a step above the rest. Once you have been to a certain place, you can instantly travel there again by locating that area on your map. Finding your father is your main quest. Everything else you encounter are side quests that develop your character. You become the person you want to be- do bad things and you will be hated, do good things and you will be loved. How you develop your character is completely up to you as is what skills you choose to develop.
This option means that you'll probably want to play the game all over again as a completely different character with new skills and abilities. It's all about detail and the graphics in Fallout 3 are incredible. From stains on a mattress to the design of the (), everything is so meticulous. Voice overs are done very well also and the soundtrack is fantastic. You'll love the 50s music that takes you right into the timeline of the story.
If you're looking to be occupied for a few weeks, then Fallout 3 is definitely the answer. It's so good you'll be lucky if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend afterwards. Get it at the best price here.

I think Fallout 3 is one of the best roll playing games currently available in the market. In this game you have only one quest, the rest of them are side quests. The quests are not thrown at you, you gave to explore the game and find out quests. There are more than hundred unique maps and locations in the game and that means there are lots of quests that you can play. The replay value of this game is very good.
Pros: lots of quests, nice gameplay, graphics.
Cons: game length, slow pace, bugs
Fallout 3 is a roll playing game so you can develop the character want way you want. Your character can become a doctor or a science genius, learn lock picking and stealth, or you can invest in weapons and start fighting. If you behave well with people, they will like you, if you don’t behave well with people they will fear you and hate you. The replay value of this game is very good; you can finish the game as one character and start the game again with another character.
Pros: replay value, fight scenes, graphics
Cons: game length, slow pace, lots of bugs
The graphics of Fallout 3 are awesome. Fallout 3 is set in post-apocalyptic era and the game developers have paid a lot attention to every detail, the stain on the mattress, the half blown up buildings, comics of some old times etc. it certainly is a little creepy because it looks real. The voice over is loud and clear. Enemies are not always of the same level as you are. There is cool concept in the game called instant travel in which once you have visited a place you don’t have to walk to it again; you can instant travel to it.
Pros: graphics, gameplay, multiple quests.
Cons: length of game, slow pace, RPG not good.
