Lenovo Thinkpad X1

Our Price: $1097

If you've been shopping around for a light portable laptop with a large screen of 13-inches and upwards, you'll know that portability often means sacrificing the power of the machine. With the Lenovo Thinkpad X1, you can have the best of both worlds with a 13.3-inch laptop that weighs only 3.7 pounds and it extremely thin. If you want a laptop that you can bring anywhere, this is it. However, the Thinkpad X1 has the specs of a much bulkier machine, the kind you would even find on a desktop.

This laptop is very capable with 4 GB of DDR3 SDRAM and a 2.5 GHz i5 core processor. If you have to run intensive programs while you're out on the road, the Thinkpad X1 is definitely up to the task. It comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Professional so you are ready to get productive straight away. The laptop also has a 320 GB SATA II hard drive so you have plenty of space for documents, music, photos and videos without needing to carry around a portable hard drive. Ideal for travel, the Thinkpad X1 has a backlit keyboard so that you can type in badly lit areas and there is also an onboard HD camera with noise/echo cancellation so that you can stay connected wherever you are via video chat.

Even though it is thinner than the diameter of a penny, the design of this machine is very rugged. It has a spill-resistant keyboard, reenforced Corning Gorilla glass and a carbon-fibre roll-cage. Best of all, unlike the comparably thin MacBook Air, the Thinkpad X1 comes at a very affordable price. Pick up a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 here at an amazing discount price for a no-compromise portable laptop experience.

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Reviews (1)

  1. December 14, 2011 by Randy

It amazes me that all the other computer makers out there have not caught up even close to the Macbook. I searched and searched for a laptop EVERYWHERE that ran Windows that was just a little bit as slim and powerful and all I could find was the Lenovo Thinkpad X1. I almost bought Macbook! I’m so glad I didn’t. OSX is a pain. I’m definitely a Windows person. I’m blown over by how powerful this laptop is, despite how tiny it is. I bring this everywhere with me now. It’s the perfect work companion and people are always so jealous of it. I’ve not seen this laptop in any stores, and I can see why, you would never buy a bulky Dell or Samsung when this is on display.

Pros: Tiny and slim but super powerful computer, more powerful than my desktop!
Cons: Would have like a different color to black. Silver or white.
