HTC Desire HD is one of the best Smartphone released by HTC. It has Google maps for navigation, it works really well and it also syncs with the Google Maps on desktop. So I just have to mark a place in the maps on desktop which I am planning to go and later when I am on the road, I just look the place up on my HTC Desire HD, it is very simple and fast.
Pros: big screen, HTC sense UI, android os
Cons: battery life, camera, early firmware bugs
HTC Desire HD is a really good phone. It has android os which according to me is the best OS for Smartphone. It supports full multitasking, the apps in the Android market are not as tightly controlled like in the Apple’s App Store. We have access to file system in android which is not possible in iPhone. The google services are tightly integrated into the android OS in HTC Desire HD which is very convienent if you use lot of Google services.
Pros: video recording, screen resolution, HTC Sense UI
Cons: low quality camera, battery life, landscape keypad
After all the buzz and hype about Google’s Android, I switched from Apple iPhone to an Android phone HTC Desire HD and I am so far impressed with it. It does not have the games of the same level as in iPhone which has some really nice 3D games. But I enjoy the freedom that Android gives me. I can use Bluetooth to share stuff, I have access to the file system of the phone.
Pros: open OS, screen, Google integration
Cons: voice quality, keypad, battery life
