The LG Dare is a full touch-screen multimedia phone. It has a host of great features including a 3.2 megapixel camera with a flash, auto focus and a video camera mode. It works great as a digital camera and saves carrying an extra device with you when you’re on the go.
It has a 3 inch touch-screen with 240 X 400 resolution. It’s lightweight and not too thick. If you’re looking for something a little smaller than the iPhone and the instinct, this is a great size. It also has a soft-touch back which attracts a lot less fingerprints than the other touch phones on the market. Texting is made very convenient on the dare as you can view the keys as normal or rotate the keyboard to view a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s spread out nicely and very easy to type on.
Check out the listings below for the cheapest prices. It has a standard headphone jack (like the Venus and Voyager) which is always great to have on a phone. There’s nothing worse than losing your headphones and having to fork out for more when you’ve got a perfectly good pair of standard headphones at your disposal.
The whole phone is very customisable. You can put the features you use the most in a shortcut menu for quick access. This includes pictures of all your contacts- a text or call is just a touch of their face away! The Dare has a full HTML browser which is great for viewing web pages and is very customizable also and thankfully moves from the terrible touchscreen of the Viewty and Prada.

LG Dare is a great phone, specially if you have to stick with a CDMA carrier because of ccoverage issues. It has a very receptive touchscreen, intuitive menus, excellent picture quality and camera. Speakerphone is very good. Only downside for me was that sometimes when I use camera, I inadvertantly touch some other part of the screen and go into camcorder mode instead of camera. It takes some time to get used to a touchscreen, if this is your first one, but then you will love it!
Pros:
Picture quality
1000 entry phonne book
Intuitive menus
Big keys and full qwerty keyboard
Cons:
Camera can be very ‘touchy’ to operate
I have purchased two of these phones and I love them. Right now I am using the LG EnV touch. I am now ready to sell it and go back to the LG Dare. It is a fantastic phone and very easy to use. I would rate it 10 out of 10.
Pros:
camera, mp3 player, headphone jack, easy to use
Cons:
none what so ever
