Are you looking for a phone that steps up and takes mobile gaming seriously? The LG G2x is the answer you’ve been looking for. This phone is really sleek; it measures just 4.9 inches long by 2.5 inches wide and is only 0.4 of an inch thick. It has smooth, rounded corners and is clad in a matte soft-touch finish on the back, which is perfect for holding for long periods while gaming. This phone delivers lightning fast 4G speeds and is one of the most powerful Android phones on the market.

It weighs 5 ounces and feels very solid but the main asset of the LG G2x is its vibrant 4-inch IPS touchscreen display with WVGA resolution. This screen provides crystal-clear sharpness, with vibrant colors and impressive detail. You can see the sharpness and clarity of the screen while playing games and watching HD video. The touchscreen is very responsive and you just need to tap it once for a touch to register, which is especially important for mobile gaming. This device has a gyroscopic sensor too that makes the gaming experience even better. The screen would mean nothing without the on-board Dual Core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor which makes sure that the phone is really, really fast. LG has preloaded the Nvidia Tegra Zone app with the phone. This app lets you easily find, purchase, and download games that take advantage of the Nvidia processor. It comes with Nova and Need for Speed Shift, games that really show off the graphic capabilities of the device.

If you have ever used an Android phone before, you’ll already be comfortable using the LG G2x. Below the display, you’ll find the usual Android shortcut keys in the form of touch-sensitive buttons for menu, home, back, and search. On the top right of the phone is the front-facing camera that you can use for video chats. There are two external speakers that deliver great sound on the bottom along with the Micro-USB charging port. On the top of the phone, you’ll find the 3.5mm headset jack, HDMI port, and power/screen lock button. There is a microSD card slot is located behind the battery cover, but you don't need to remove the battery to access it. Use a micro SD card to expand your memory to fit more photos, videos and music onto the LG G2x. As it runs on an Android OS, you have access to thousands of apps and games that you can enjoy on this device no matter where you are. There is an ever-expanding library of games being developed that are much cheaper than games for the PSP and the Nintendo DSi.

The LG G2x is a major leap forward in mobile gaming and a must-have for anyone who wants to get serious with gaming on their phone. We’ve got great deals on Unlocked models of the LG G2x. Grab one while stocks last.

LG G2x Reviews (2)

  1. December 13, 2011 by Mikey

I’d wanted an Android for AGES since my iPhone 3G crapped out me a few months ago, iTunes is such a pain and I really wanted a slick droid phone instead. The LG G2x was an early Christmas present to myself, it was expensive, but I gota the money. I download 100′s of sweet games of the net for it and it kicks butt on the bus home everyday from work. Who can be bothered with PSP or DSi, they’re huge and who wants to carry around one of those AND your phone. I love my new LG. It’s so slick.

Pros: Android rules. Games are amazing. Great screen. Slim and slick phone.
    Cons: Expensive.

Please read reviews on other sites so you can get the full picture. I bought this phone from T-Mobile almost two years ago and I’ve had trouble since the first day. This phone has a lot of cool features but it is not able to function properly if you use them. My phone had overheated, turned off countless times, and reset itself. I have bought a new battery but it didn’t seem to help. The manufacturer does not address the issues with this phone; instead they blame the user for not shutting it down every day and not clearing cache, etc. If you don’t believe me research the problems with this phone and you will br amazed at what a faulty product this is. In addition, T-Mobile also released tips on how to use this phone since it received so many complaints.

    Pros: Pros: features, 4G, connectivity
Cons: it does not deliver, performance issues, unpredictable
Cons: What did you find were the cons of this product?
