LG Rumor Reviews (2)

I have owned this phone for a few months now, and I’m pretty satidfied with it. It is a real value for the money. It’s size is optimal for the qwerty keyboard, it is very confortable to type on it. The battery life is good, it can take 5-6 hours talk and heavy use, it takes a bit under 2 hours to recharge it either from the car or the home charger.

This is a pretty phone, it has a small screen compared to qwerty phones, it’s lightweight and feels sturdy, the keys are good. I had a problem with some of the keys sticking in the beginning, but it has solved from itself quickly. The performance is average, it’s quick enough for everyday use. I would like if it had voice dialling. For real surfing the screen is too small, but it’s ok for texting.

Overally I’m satisfied with this phone, the sound quality could be better though.

I was impressed with this phone when I got it. It worked fine and I loved the keyboard, the battery life was quite good with moderate usage I had to charge it every 4-5 days. Unfortunately after a few months of use it started to develop problems. First it happened that the display died. I got it serviced and they told me it was because of flipping the phone too much what was no true at all. The next thing was that the phone shut down itself randomly, several times a day. I took it out of my pocket, and it was shut down. Missed many calls because of this. The service upgraded the firmware, but it still happens, although more rarely. Also the paint from the keys started to come off and some of the keys are not working sometimes, totally randomly. Sometimes when I use the front keypad the screen goes black. So this phone is great in the beginning, but after a few months is a nightmare. I would not recommend it to anyone, really does not worth even a part of it’s price.
