With all the bulky phones on the market at the moment, are you looking for something smaller, thinner and lighter? The Motorola Razr V3 phone is indeed razor thin as its name suggests- it measures just 3.86 x 2.08 x 0.54 inches and weighs a mere 3.35 ounces. It is comfortable in any pocket or handbag unlike the current big players; the iPhone and the Nokia N97. The design is striking, as it is not bulky in any way. The device flips open to reveal a 2.5-inch, 260,000-colour display. The blue backlit keyboard is completely flat, yet it has a nice tactile feel. It is easy to compose text messages and e-mails and for people that type a lot and you don’t have to worry about wearing the keys down as you would with some rubberised keypads.

The Razr V3 has some great productivity tools built in including a voice memo recorder, an alarm clock, a calculator, a currency converter and a calendar. It supports POP3, SMTP, and IMAP4 e-mail and has a USB port to sync details with your computer. The phone’s internal phonebook can hold up to 1000 contacts and an additional 250 names can be stored on the SIM card. Each contact can hold up to 6 phone numbers and an e-mail address. You can also assign a photograph to your contacts that will appear in the external 96 x 80 full-colour display when that contact is calling you. This external display also displays the time, battery and signal strength when the flip phone is closed.

So if you want a capable device that is light in price and in your pocket, buy a Razor V3 today.

Unlocked Motorola Razr V3 Reviews (2)

The signal coverage is quite bad where I live but I can still make calls with clear voice quality using this phone, better than my wife SE phone. I had some trouble with getting it work with my BlueTooth Headset, but other than that everything is excellent about this phone. I must say that it’s built like a tank, I dropped it many times, it collected a few scratches but other than that it is still working without a single problem.

Overally I think it is a very good mobile phone, the features are easy to use and it is very sturdy, I’d highly recommend it.

    Pros:
VERY well built, easy to use

    Cons:
bluetooth issues, some functions are not available during calls

I bought this phone for my daughter and she is satisfied with it although there are a few things she didn’t like about it, like opening it at the first place, it opens using a button and it’s easy to launch the camera instead. Navigating through the menu is not too easy, it takes some time to get familiar with it. The outside display is a bit too dark, the clock is hardly visible on it except if a very light colored bg image is used. The operating system sometimes seems slow, there is a noticeable delay in response when moving through the menus. It could be more customizable. Although my daughter is ok with it, I wouldn’t buy this phone again, there are too many little annoying things.

    Pros:
    slim, comfortable to talk

    Cons:
hard to open, a few annoying things
