Unlocked Nokia E63

Our Price: $147

The Nokia e63 has been introduced as an affordable alternative to the Nokia e71. It is very similar to the e71 in design as it has a large QWERTY keyboard and a large 320 x 240 pixels QVGA screen.

It comes in a ruby red and blue casing, which does not attract fingerprints like the metallic style e71. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack which enables you to use any standard headphone set. However, the e63 is slightly thicker and does not include GPS. The camera on the e63 has been sacrificed. It has been downgraded from a 3.2-megapixel camera on the e71 to a 2-megapixel camera that still produces great photos in good lighting. This device also adds a cool flashlight function that allows the camera’s LED flash to be used as a torch. The E63 This handset offers 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and a micro SD expansion slot.

It is a Symbian S60-based smartphone, which also includes support for POP/IMAP e-mail accounts and Pre-installed QuickOffice. If GPS and a superior camera are not your number one priority when purchasing a phone, the e63 is a great investment.

Excellent choice for business and personal users. I’d call it a poor man’s Nokia e71 because it offers everything that the e71 does, but it’s a lot cheaper. I’m really satisfied with this mobile phone. The connectivity options – wireless and bluetooth are working fine and this is very important to me. This phone does not have infrared port, but I would not use it anyway. Typing messages, emails or editing documents is very easy on this phone. The phone is not too solid, the plastic finish feels cheap on the outside, but it’s not too bad. The camera takes quite satisfying photos, although it is only 2MP while the e71 has 3.2MP.

I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a great communication device with excellent media and messaging features, it will satisfy both business and personal users and it’s definitely a better value for the money than the e71.

    price, easy texting, camera

    flimsy plastic finish

An excellent smartphone! I was new to the smartphones when I have got this one. It’s size it’s perfect, if it would be smaller the keypad would be hardly usable. It’s sleek and fits perfectly in my hands. It looks great also in my opinion.
I was used to normal cellphones before this one and I was truly impressed with the smartphone features. Office apps, acrobat reader, wifi web browsing in a phone, it’s just unbeliveable. Although it cannot replace a laptop, the features it has makes it really useful all the time. I can send and receive emails while on the way, check anything on the internet, it’s really cool. The qwerty keyboard works well, I can type on it quite fast. The construction of the phone is good, it does not feel cheep at all. The camera is decent, I took some really great photos with it when I was without my digital camera.
Overall I think this phone well worth it’s price, all it’s functions are usable, I would highly recommend it

    camera, keyboard, build, design

no volume buttons, reception could be better
