It has convenient settings which include color effects, white balance presets, 8x digital zoom, self-timer, three quality settings, sounds/silent options, and 9 joke/fun frames to play around with. The best thing about Samsung SGH T929 Memoir is its camera; it has an 8 megapixel camera which takes great photos, it has got lots of settings and modes in which you can take the photos. It has colour effects, white balance presets, 8x digital zoom, self-timer, three quality settings etc. So you can forget your point and shoot camera is you have this phone. If you feel like a bit more adventurous you can checkout advanced camera settings like an adjustable ISO and exposure metering.

    Pros: camera, flash, screen
    Cons: apps, price, web browser

If you have Samsung SGH T929 Memoir and run into any problem don’t bother with the customer care, they are a bunch of idiots. They actually made my small problem worse. Thankfully one of my friend found a way to solve it. Besides that this is a sweet phone with lots of camera functionality, nice touchscreen with the Samsung TouchWiz UI. I am not a fan of TouchWiz UI but I admit that it does make using the phone easier.

Pros: camera, touch screen, User interface
Cons: customer care, slow web browser, limited email account support

Even though Samsung SGH T929 Memoir has an 8 megapixel camera, I did not find its camera performance better than other dedicated camera device. There is lot of noise in the photos and I cannot find a setting to reduce the noise from the shots. The interface can sometimes be slow. The touchscreen is better than average but it is not as good as iPhone or the latest Android phone that are currently available in the market.

Pros: camera design, pocket friendly, high quality looks
Cons: web browser, lack of quality apps, call quality
