Garmin Nuvi 760

Our Price: $127

The Garmin Nuvi 760 has all the advanced features that you would expect from a high-end Garmin GPS product. This is the ideal satellite navigation to invest in if you plan to use your GPS very often and you need it to be extremely reliable. The Garmin Nuvi 760 has a touch sensitive widescreen display (a far cry from the nuvi 250) that you use to navigate the intuitive menu. The screen itself is extremely bright and easy to read in all types of lighting and is secured firmly with an excellent windshield mount.

There is an SD card slot on the left side of the device which enables you to download and share maps and other multimedia files from your computer. As a lot of maps are already loaded onto the internal memory, this SD card might never be necessary for you but it’s great to have the option. The 760 goes the extra mile by including Bluetooth hands free calling, an FM transmitter and live traffic recording.

Another great feature that Garmin have added can help you locate where you parked your car (Just like the previous garmin nuvi 660). Those who need it (you know who you are) will find that feature extremely useful when aimlessly strolling around the car park with your trolley desperately seeking your car. Let your GPS take care of it by guiding you back to your vehicle. Overall, the Nuvi 760 is an extremely capable device with great navigation and an improved design.

Garmin Nuvi 760 Reviews (2)

Before this unit I have owned the TomTom 720 which was a huge disappointment. The Garmin Nuvi 760 found everything the TomTom wasn’t able to, and it suggests the routes I usually take, so it works very well. It’s interface is easy to use, from the go to menu you can select from 6 million places. The screen is bright and easy to read, it was easy to set up the bluetooth with my Nokia phone. The settings are great – keyboard modes like qwerty and abc or modes like automobile, bike or pedestrian mode are very useful. The “where I am” feature is also very cool. I like the route simulation feature also. This GPS unit is very accurate and the routing is well made, I’m completely satisfied with it, highly recommended.

    Very accurate, easy to use

I have had this GPS unit for a month now. I found the screen very bright, usable in bright sunlight and at night also. I like the mount also, it locks the unit well and it has a quick release mechanism. The signal is excellent, and it is VERY accurate. I love the road sorting feature, it works great and this was my main reason for buying this unit. The speaker is quite good, although I think it could be a bit louder. It has optimal dimensions for both using it in the car and fitting it into my pocket. My cell phone works fine with it. I would highly recommend this unit.
