Our Price: $97

Are you looking for an affordable simple, Blu-ray player? Why pay for bells and whistles that you'll never use? You've got your HD television, now all you need is a high quality machine to play your blu-ray discs on. The Sony BDP-BX2 Blu-Ray player is a straight forward machine. It is not device with multiple options and confusing controls. It does exactly what you'd expect it to in a very user-friendly manner.

When in use it gives a top quality picture. Setting the Sony BDP-BX2 up is pretty straightforward and should pose no problem to even the most technology challenged amongst us. The BDP-BX2 even allows for firmware updates once it is linked through a Cat5E cable into your home network so you won't have to worry about checking for updates yourself. This helps give a stable operational base to your player. A great feature on the BDP-BX2 is that you can easily set up the audio of the player to be played through your home stereo system if you have one. You simply use the audio setup menu and reset to your new preference. The only complaint I could give is that the remote control has no eject button which is pet peeve of mine with many pieces of equipment but this is no deal breaker. The quality of the image that this player provided most definitely make up for this minor annoyance.

Overall, the Sony BDP-BX2 is a suberb Blu ray player which is easy to setup, reliable and doesn’t interfere with the images on the Blu Ray.
