The Creative Zen 4GB media player is a teeny tiny piece of kit. It has a 2.5 inch screen and is extremely lightweight at 2.1 ounces. Photos look great on the 320 x 240-pixel colour screen as does the colour menu.
The menu is easy to navigate and user-friendly. With the integrated microphone, you can create your own recordings. Whether you want to record a meeting, a lecture, a to-do list or use it for blackmail, the world is your oyster. You can pre-set 32 FM stations on the radio so you can tune in to the news or the latest hits anytime you need an escape from your music collection.
If you want to expand your memory, you can do so with an SD card. So you can add more space for photos, music or videos. The Zen supports MP3, WMA, WAV, MJPEG, WMV9, DivX and XviD files. You can make your own playlists for all your different moods and enjoy the really impressive audio quality of your music. While this review could compare it to the Zune mp3 player, it is much more in line with the creative Zen Vision. Either way, you're getting a fantastic product. Who needs to be an ipod sheep?
